Stainless steel polish is a great cleaner for stainless steel. Use it to clean the outside of the grill.
It's a metal polish that chemically cleans the metal and has a bit of abrasive in it. This removes grease, smoke staining, fly speck etc.
Put some polish on a fibre cloth and wipe the surface until it is nice. It is important to follow the original sanding of the surface. If you wipe in a different direction, you risk making visible scratches.
When you're done, remove the excess polish with soapy water (Ajax universal cleaner).
To finish off, we recommend that you apply stainless steel cleaner from "Borup" to the grill afterwards. This is a paraffin oil that makes the grill look nice and protects it from the elements.
Now your grill is as good as new.
